We at Americlerkships Medical Society and Advanced Colleges of America strongly believe in this quote and that is why we attended the recent American Heart Association event at the Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach (California) which honored Dr. Harvinder Sahota, MD, FACC, FSCAI for his significant contribution to Interventional Cardiology at its Annual Gala on May 5th, 2012.

The ceremony began with the introduction of Dr. Sahota by the Chairman of the American Heart Association Annual Gala, Mr. Brett Wall, and a documentary featuring Sir. Eldon Griffiths (former Prime Minister and Cabinet Minister of UK), Dr. K. Dr. Sahota's heart warming acceptance speech recognized the public, scientific and over $3.3 billion in contributions made by the American Heart Association. This celebrity studded evening was topped with silent and live auctions, with proceeds benefiting the charitable contributions made by the American Heart Association.
