05/23/2013– Kewl Innovations Receives 2012 TECH Fort Worth IMPACT Award

Kewl Innovations, Inc., the pioneer in portable Insulin temperature control, was honored as a 2012 TECH Fort Worth IMPACT Award recipient at an event attended by over 300 North Texas community leaders, entrepreneurs, technology advocates and investors. The 2012 Lifestyle IMPACT Award was given to Kewl Innovations in recognition of innovation and enhanced quality of life for people with diabetes.

Kewl Innovations has developed ClimaPak™, a small, portable device which utilizes nanotechnology and advanced software to maintain and monitor the temperature of Insulin over 3 to 5 days in various climate conditions on a single AC/DC wall charge. The IMPACT Awards luncheon was held May 23rd at Brown-Lupton University Union Ballroom at Texas Christian University and featured a keynote speech by Doug Solomon, IDEO Fellow and former Apple SVP and chief strategy officer. IMPACT Award winners were acknowledged during the event by Texas State Senator Wendy Davis and officially recognized by the Texas Senate in Proclamation 510.
